50 good reasons to do a beer tour by bike

  1. Because beer tastes better when it's earned.
  2. Because we said we'd get back into sports in 2026.
  3. Because of the love of beer, man.
  4. Because we need to believe that sweating before drinking cancels something out.
  5. Because we wanted to do some sightseeing without visiting a boring museum.
  6. Because an IPA after a 15km bike ride is legally better.
  7. Because meeting a brewer is better than reading a beer label.
  8. Because beer gives you time to forget the hill you just climbed.
  9. Because there are electric bikes for lazy people.
  10. Because it takes up the whole day, without you even realizing it.
  11. Because matcha is only good for two minutes
  12. Because we're in our " "Reconnect with nature."
  13. Because frankly, why not?
  14. To see if we can live on fresh beer (love, we'll see about that later).
  15. Because on Monday at coffee break, you'll be the annoying person who says, "This weekend we did a really nice little beer and bike tour."
  16. Because on that Monday, you won't be answering your colleagues "I didn't do anything special this weekend" like an NPC.
  17. Because we like it when things are organized for us.
  18. Because we prefer beer to champagne, what can you do?
  19. Because just for fun.
  20. Because there's a beer-themed escape game included in our beer and cycling tour in the Ardennes.
  21. Because “independent brewery” always sounds better than “PMU bar”.
  22. Because the North is flat but not bland.
  23. Because we tried running, and it ended badly.
  24. Because the distance is accessible to normal people, not to Tour de France cyborgs.
  25. Because we're opening our chakras right now.
  26. Because you can love beer and your quads.
  27. Because we wanted to test our limits (they are low).
  28. Because after the comfort comes the effort (yes, you have to start again after the beer break).
  29. Because we'll finally have something to post on Insta.
  30. Because in the Ardennes the route follows the EuroVelo 19, 100% separated from traffic. It's a breeze.
  31. Because YOLO, as the troubadours who ride bicycles say.
  32. Because change is now.
  33. Because we want to know what it's like to be Pogacar, but without the level
  34. Because we've been spending our weekends on the couch for 40 years and honestly, we can't take this shitty life anymore.
  35. Because we drink very good beers.
  36. Simply because of an excess of good vibes.
  37. Because beer is your EPO.
  38. Because in the Ardennes, you pass through one of the most beautiful villages in France.
  39. Because great epics rarely begin on a sofa.
  40. Because cycling is eco-friendly.
  41. Because there's a delicious lunch stop included in your route, and we're not going to pretend we don't like that.
  42. Because it takes us out of our comfort zone, but not too far.
  43. Because the best places are never on TripAdvisor, but at L'Échappée Bière (just saying).
  44. Because you can come with your girlfriend or boyfriend. And if you don't have one, your friend. And if you don't have one... your family, as a last resort.
  45. Because you'll finally understand what a triple is.
  46. Because cycling gives you time to look at the scenery.
  47. Because it's cool.
  48. Because it's self-supported, so you ride at your own pace, without anyone glued to your wheel.
  49. Because the beer and bike route is inevitably punctuated by a brewery visit.
  50. Because it's pedal or die, comrade!
  51. Because, deep down, beer and cycling is just a really good idea.
