L'Échappée Bière offers beer tours and stays through its websites and select OTA retailers and physical agencies. We offer stays with "starting from" prices. These stays are a framework that you can modify, depending on your budget and preferences (length of stay, options, etc.). Regardless of the type of stay you choose, you must submit your request directly on our website, by email, or by phone to one of our call center agents, or even to one of our retailers, who will rely on us for bookings.
We typically get back to you within 24 to 72 business hours, by phone or email for initial contact, and then electronically to send you practical information and/or pricing, referred to below as a quote. Quotes include the detailed itinerary of your trip and the final price (taxes and services included). For package holidays, we may need to adjust the components of your stay (accommodation, tastings, etc.) depending on supplier availability for the selected dates; these changes will be indicated in the quote or itinerary sent to you.
Quotes are valid for a limited period of 30 days from the date of receipt, beyond which the various components of the stay and the prices indicated cannot be maintained. If the validity period of your quote is exceeded, L'Échappée Bière may issue a new quote for your trip if certain terms, particularly pricing, should be modified. You can pay for your trip on our website by clicking on the payment link, within the validity period. You may also be asked to pay by bank transfer or via the Stripe Payment solution, or by Chèque Vacances or Paypal.
You may also be required to pay directly through our resellers' platforms and according to their terms if you book with them.
Registration for a trip is considered final upon receipt by L'Échappée Bière of your payment via the channels listed above. Reservation requests are only effectively made upon receipt of the customer's financial commitment.
Registration for one of our trips is only possible for groups of two or more people at the prices listed online. If you wish to travel alone or give a gift for one person, this is possible for an additional fee determined by the agency. In this case, please contact the agency before booking.
1.2. pricing
The total and final price will be set based on the options chosen and the dates of your trip, and will be communicated to you upon receipt of your quote. Only the services explicitly mentioned in the trip description are part of the package. The following are not included in the package (unless otherwise stipulated in the trip description): personal expenses (tips, telephone, etc.), optional excursions, and generally any service not expressly included in the trip description. The services offered are subject to availability by the Partners. Where applicable, L'Échappée Bière reserves the right to offer equivalent services. The steps to pay for your trip are indicated below.
1.3. Payment terms – invoices
For any registration made more than 30 days before the departure date, L'Échappée Bière will collect a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay. For any registration made less than 30 days before the departure date, payment must be made in one payment for the entire amount of the trip. To pay for the stay, you access a secure payment platform. You can pay by credit card, Visa, Carte Bleue, or Mastercard, but also by Chèques Vacances, Paypal, Stripe, or bank transfer. Registration for one of our trips, formalized by payment for the trip, implies acceptance of the general and specific conditions of sale. In accordance with Article L.121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, you do not benefit from a cooling-off period upon ordering travel services via our website. Your reservation will be final. In case of problems, our advisors are at your disposal.
If the customer is booking through a reseller or partner who sells L'Échappée Bière stays, their terms and conditions may apply. In this case, this will be mentioned by the seller, and cancellation fees and any refunds will have to be handled by the reseller. In other cases, when the L'Échappée Bière T&Cs apply to the reseller, our cancellation and refund conditions will have to be taken into account.
2.1. Reimbursement following reservation of a stay with our reseller partners
If you book one of our stays with a reseller partner who applies our general terms and conditions of sale and only acts as an intermediary, the refund will be based on the amount collected by L'Échappée Bière. The commission allocated to the reseller partner is non-refundable and cannot be recovered by the buyer. This commission varies depending on the partnership but does not exceed 20% of the amount of the stay.
2.2 Cancellation conditions following reservation of a stay with our reseller partners
In the event that the stay should be cancelled, if you have not accepted the general conditions of sale of the reseller partner, ours will apply (see part 3 of our general conditions of sale).
If the client is obliged to cancel their trip, or to remove participants, they must inform L'Échappée Bière by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by email as soon as the event giving rise to this cancellation occurs: the date of sending this letter or email will be considered as the cancellation date for the purpose of billing cancellation fees.
3.1. Total cancellations requested by the customer before departure (excluding special cases 3.5)

Total cancellation fee scale, except in special cases: – from 30 days before the departure date: 100% of the amount of the gift box / voucher. After this 30-day period, no changes or cancellations can be taken into account, nor will they give rise to a refund. – more than 31 days before the departure date: cancellation fees charged at €30 per traveler. The beneficiary will have the option to redefine a departure date, before the expiry date of their gift box / voucher.
3.3. Partial cancellations requested by the customer or beneficiary before departure (except in special cases 3.5)
If one or more travelers registered on the same booking cancel their participation in a trip that is still scheduled, the cancellation fee schedule shown above in section 3.1 also applies individually.
3.4. Changes requested by the customer before departure
Any subsequent changes to the travel reservation (relating to an itinerary, a program, a customer name, etc.) will be charged €20 per person.
3.5. Special cases
When local hoteliers or service providers impose cancellation or modification fees higher than those resulting from the conditions of L'Échappée Bière described in 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4, these fees are applicable to the customer. When several customers have registered for the same file and one of them cancels their trip, the cancellation fees are deducted from the sums collected by L'Échappée Bière for this file, regardless of who made the payment. In the event of cancellation, for any reason whatsoever, costs external to the trip purchased with L'Échappée Bière and incurred by the customer, such as transport costs to the departure point of the trip and return home, costs of obtaining visas, travel documents, vaccination costs, will not be subject to any reimbursement.
Insurance may be included in the services sold by L'Échappée Bière. Customers are advised to take out an insurance policy covering the consequences of certain cancellation cases and an assistance policy covering certain specific risks (particularly in the event of an accident or illness).
It is the customer's responsibility to subscribe to such contracts with the insurance company of their choice, their bank, or directly through the Assur Travel insurance offered by L'Échappée Bière. You will find the insurance options and their conditions and coverage when booking your stay online or during discussions with L'Échappée Bière's telephone advisors who will offer them to you.
5.1. Services not used or modified on site by the customer
Land-based services sold by L'Échappée Bière that are not used on site (excursions, accommodation, etc.) will not give rise to any refund. Services voluntarily modified on site are subject to the conditions of the local providers: additional or replacement services resulting in an additional cost must be paid directly to the local providers and will under no circumstances engage the liability of L'Échappée Bière. They will not give rise to any refund of the unused portion of the services.
5.2. Photos and illustrations
L'Échappée Bière strives to illustrate its proposals with photos or illustrations that provide a realistic overview of the services offered. However, it should be noted that the photos and illustrations appearing in the description may be illustrative of the services. They only bind L'Échappée Bière to the extent that they allow the category or level of standing of these services to be indicated.
L'Échappée Bière cannot be held responsible for the consequences of the following events:
Loss or theft of travel documents.
Unforeseeable and insurmountable incidents or events of a third party outside L'Échappée Bière such as: wars, political unrest, strikes outside L'Échappée Bière, technical incidents outside L'Échappée Bière, bad weather, delays (including delays in mail delivery services for the transmission of travel documents), breakdowns, loss or theft of baggage or other effects.
Any delay(s) incurred due to the cases referred to above, as well as any resulting itinerary changes, will not give rise to any compensation whatsoever, in particular due to the modification of the duration of the initially planned program or a delay in a connection. Any additional costs related to a disruption (tax, hotel, parking, etc.) will remain the responsibility of the customer. Cancellation imposed by circumstances of a force majeure nature and/or for reasons related to customer safety and/or upon injunction of an administrative authority.
L'Échappée Bière reserves the right to modify the dates, times or planned itineraries if it considers that the safety of the traveler cannot be guaranteed and this without the latter being able to claim any compensation.
Any complaint must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, accompanied by supporting documents, to L'Échappée Bière – 130 Boulevard de la Liberté 59000 Lille within 30 days of returning from the trip.
Your order is subject to computerized personal data processing. This data is intended for L'Échappée Bière but may be transmitted to third parties, in particular service providers, and may be used for commercial prospecting purposes by L'Échappée Bière.
