The outing is available on Saturdays and Sundays from March to the end of September. We offer bike rentals, but you are welcome to bring your own for the day.
Starting from Bailleul, in French Flanders, hop on your classic or electric bikes and explore the incredible Point Noeud which meanders through hop fields, countryside and the characteristic and picturesque Flemish villages.
There's nothing like getting a breath of fresh air just 30 minutes from Lille and Dunkirk and 2.5 hours from Paris. Along a perfectly flat route, admire the mountains and abbeys that dot the route.
Stop in Poperinge, the Belgian hop capital, to discover the HopMuseum (Hop Museum), which will teach you more about this climbing plant that makes beer the favorite alcoholic beverage of Belgians and French. After your visit, share a hoppy beer at the museum's tavern with a meal (main course + drink; soft drinks are available as an alternative).
Hop on your bikes and head to the iconic Saint-Bernardus brewery, featuring an impressive rooftop offering a bird's eye view of the hop fields. Visit the brewery and taste their signature beers at the end of the tour.
Your day ends where it began, in Bailleul, a stone's throw from the famous Mont des Cats and its Trappist abbey.
